Kehler’s Gymnastics Center is Closing After 40 Wonderful Years.
We want to thank the many tens of thousands of families who have trusted KGC for several generations with the instruction and care of their children. We had no idea in 1981 when we were just starting out, just how much we would grow and how many lives we would touch.
Kehler’s Gym has had multiple satellite locations over the years including Valley Forge, St Davids, Ardmore, Rosemont, and of course our home base has been for all those years, Broomall PA.
Watching small children grow up in our programs to eventually become adults, who would later bring their own children to share in the same experience they enjoyed as kids, has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.
Certainly, of equal importance for us has been seeing many of those young people learn to be instructors under our direction in their teen years, and then watch as they excelled not just as patient teachers, but eventually during their college years, grow as managers, and then go on to use those skills to excel in their fields as adults.
Having hosted nearly 30,000 birthday parties, trained over 32,000 gymnasts, and made summer day camps a special memory for countless children, we hope we have left you all with warm thoughts and happy memories to last a lifetime.
Our decision to close when we did was initiated by Gov. Wolf’s prudent decision to close for everyone’s safety, however, we view this time as a moment to look back on our many successes over the past 40 years, and to celebrate the way that Kehler’s Gymnastics Center was so warmly embraced by tens of thousands of families in our community.
We raised our 3 children at the gym, and now the time has come to retire. Thank you to all the smiling children, the patient parents, the loyal staff, and everyone who made our dreams come true at Kehler’s Gymnastics Center.
