GREATER LONG ISLAND RUNNING CLUB AND GREAT SOUTH BAY BREWERY PRESENT $1500 CHECK TO SOUTHSIDE HOSPITAL

This August’s Aloha Run to the Great South Bay Brewery was, of course, only a “virtual” race with a lot fewer participants than the event has attracted in the past.


Nevertheless, the event made enough of a profit to enable the Greater Long Island Running Club [GLIRC] and the Great South Bay Brewery to present a check in the amount of $1500 to Southside Hospital and its COVID-19 Fund.


“We need to do everything possible to support the health care workers and institutions who have made such great sacrifices this year,” said GLIRC Executive Director Sue Fitzpatrick and Great South Bay Brewery proprietor Rick Sobotka in a joint statement. “It is a privilege and a pleasure for us to make this donation.”
