To all our valued customers and friends:
After calling Stoneham home for 67 years, our family has decided that it is time to close the China Moon restaurant Monday, December 14, 2020. George Der was the visionary and patriarch of the family who started the business back in December 15, 1953. After three generations in the family, we’ve been blessed to have met so many wonderful people and be a part of your weddings, birthdays, baby showers, retirements and many more lifetime milestones.
Business has been challenging these last few years, especially for 2020. We had hoped we could power through, lean and mean. Unfortunately, the restaurant can no longer survive. THANK YOU for all the friendships and memories. We hope to see you one more time to say goodbye before we close our doors.
Best,
The Tse Family, The Der Family & The Bing-You Family

Today a girl going to MHS gave us each a gift certificate for ice cream at Kennedy's, in celebration of Melrose Random Acts of Kindness Day! What a wonderful surprise, we are both very touched by this thoughtful gesture. Thank you, #melrosekind !

I think it is more important to change the state seal by removing the sword-bearing arm of Myles Standish from above the native person's head. If anyone were brutal at the time, it was Standish, who slew the native leaders at Wessagusset (Weymouth) under a white flag of truce, a truely cowardly and dastardly act.
For his alleged "bravery" a massive state park in Plymouth was named in his "honor." He had no honor; he was an out-right murderous sub-human. Take a close look at our "proud" seal.
